Chapter EventsAppreciation In Black Film ProgramDate: February 13th, 2002Place: Buell Residence HallTime: 7pmPrice: FreeThe EMU Charter in colaberation with Buell Hall RA's will be celebrating Black History Month with an "Appreciation In Black Film" program. At this program, we will showcase Spike Lee by viewing School Daze, as one of his first successful films. The program will have refreshments and free food (if possible). Everybody is encouraged to come and support the EMU charter. The Detroit ProjectDate: Saturday April 6th, 2002Place: Stoepel Park (Detroit, MI)Time: 10am - 3pmIn order to make a real contribution to the revitalization efforts of Detroit, this year Pi Psi will align with the The Detroit Project which is focusing on a single Detroit neighborhood. Volunteers will impact the community in a variety of different ways, including building playgrounds, serving as mentors to children, and demolishing abandoned houses. By working very closely with community organizations, we will not only make a difference in the community, but will also create partnerships between Pi Psi and the city of Detroit that will extend far into the future.
